Welcome to African Adventure Tours (“we,” “our,” “us”). By booking a tour, using our website, or participating in any of our travel services, you (“traveler,” “client,” “participant”) agree to the Terms & Conditions outlined below. Please read them carefully before confirming your reservation.

Booking & Payment

  • A booking is confirmed only after we receive the required deposit or full payment.

  • Final payment must be made by the deadline stated on your invoice.

  • Failure to pay on time may result in cancellation of your reservation.

  • Prices are listed in USD unless otherwise stated.

  • Payments may be subject to bank or transfer fees, which are the responsibility of the traveler.

Cancellation & Refunds

Client Cancellations

Cancellations must be submitted in writing. Refund eligibility is based on the timing of cancellation:

  • 30+ days before departure: Refund minus deposit

  • 15–29 days before departure: 50% refund

  • 0–14 days before departure: No refund

Deposits are non‑refundable unless otherwise stated.

 

Company Cancellations

We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule tours due to safety concerns, weather, low participation, or unforeseen circumstances. If we cancel a tour, clients may choose:

  • A full refund, or

  • Transfer to another tour of equal value

We are not responsible for additional costs such as flights, visas, or accommodations booked independently.

Assumption of Risk

Our tours may involve outdoor activities, wildlife encounters, off‑road travel, and remote environments. By participating, you acknowledge and accept the inherent risks associated with adventure travel, including but not limited to:

  • Rough terrain

  • Weather conditions

  • Wildlife behavior

  • Transportation risks

You agree to follow all instructions provided by guides and staff.

Photography & Media

We may capture photos or videos during tours for promotional use. If you prefer not to appear in media, please notify us in writing before your tour.

Travelers may take personal photos but must respect local customs, wildlife, and cultural sites.

Liability

  • We are not liable for personal belongings lost or damaged during the tour.

  • Travelers participate at their own risk and are encouraged to purchase comprehensive travel and medical insurance.

We may adjust itineraries due to:

  • Weather

  • Road conditions

  • Wildlife activity

  • Safety considerations

  • Operational needs

We will always aim to provide an equivalent or better experience.

Itinerary Changes

We reserve the right to remove any traveler who:

  • Endangers others

  • Disrupts the tour

  • Fails to follow guide instructions

  • Engages in illegal or unsafe behavior

No refunds will be issued in such cases.
